Hanan Magdy, Governor of the New Valley, issued a decision to cancel the ban on legalizing state property located within the urban space of the governorate’s cities, as well as the areas adjacent to the space. This is in line with the state’s efforts to end legalization files, and to facilitate serious citizens who wish to legalize their status and obtain approved legalization contracts.
Speed of submitting legalization requests
The Governor of State Property Management, the local units of the governorate centers, and the relevant committees stressed the commitment to implement the provisions of Law No. 168 of 2025 regarding some rules for codifying private state property in order to make it easier for citizens who seize state property within the urban space or adjacent to the space before 10/15/2023, in accordance with the regulating controls and laws.
The governorate calls on citizens to quickly submit legalization requests on the legalization platform to prove their legitimate right to legalization in accordance with Law No. 168 of 2025, with an emphasis on the speed of presentation to the relevant committees and the issuance of contracts within the periods specified by the law.
