The Ministry of Education and Technical Education confirmed that the incident of a student in the second year of middle school assaulting a teacher in one of the schools affiliated with the West Nasr City administration dates back to the first semester, during which all legal measures were taken against the student, and none of these measures were canceled or reduced.
The Ministry explained, in a statement, that the measures taken against the student included increasing the penalty by suspending the student from studying completely because the violation was of the fourth degree of extreme seriousness, in addition to referring the incident to the Public Prosecution, which referred it to the Child Misdemeanor Court in the Amiriyah.
She stressed that the posts circulating about abolishing the punishment against the student are completely incorrect, calling on social media users to be accurate and rely only on official sources for the information being circulated.
