The crisis of Mohamed Awad, the goalkeeper of the first football team, continues Zamalek Clubcasting a shadow over the White Castle, against the backdrop of his crisis with the football management regarding his refusal to sit on the bench, and his exclusion from group training.
Summoning Zamalek’s football director to hear his statements regarding the Mohamed Awad crisis
Cairo 24 learned that the legal affairs at Zamalek Club summoned Abdel Nasser Mohamed, director of football, during the past few days, to give his statements regarding the crisis that recently broke out between goalkeeper Mohamed Awad and the first team’s football management, following the decision to exclude the player from group training.
The legal affairs move came as part of the club’s management’s efforts to fully understand the circumstances of the crisis and listen to all concerned parties before making any official decisions.
This comes after the controversy that arose over the reasons for Awad’s exclusion, whether technical or disciplinary, in light of the club’s commitment to applying the internal regulations to all players without exception.
It is scheduled that a detailed memorandum of the results of the investigation will be prepared, in preparation for presenting it to the Board of Directors to take the final decision, whether by imposing a penalty according to the regulation, or ending the crisis amicably in order to preserve the team’s stability in the next stage, especially with Zamalek scheduled to play important matches in the Premier League competition.
