
The South Hurghada neighborhood continued its field campaigns to address building violations, as the Planning and Encroachments Department of the Engineering Department was able to stop illegal construction work on one of the properties located in the Magawish area, within the framework of tightening control over compliance with planning and building requirements.
The campaign came under the supervision of Major General Ahmed Gabr, Head of the South Hurghada District, in implementation of the directives of Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, which emphasize decisive and immediate dealing with any encroachments or building violations within the governorate’s cities, in order to preserve urban planning and prevent slums.
The district president explained that the campaign monitored one of the properties beginning to carry out construction work without obtaining the necessary legal permits, and immediately the decision was taken to completely stop the violating works, stressing that the district will not tolerate any attempt to violate the laws regulating construction.
He added that the executive authorities have seized the building materials used in the violation, and the necessary reports have been prepared, and legal procedures are being completed against violators in accordance with the law, to ensure that such violations are not repeated.
The Presidency of the South Hurghada District confirmed the continuation of monitoring campaigns on a daily basis in various areas, with the intensification of field traffic to monitor any violations in their infancy and deal with them firmly, in implementation of the directives of the executive leadership in the governorate, in a way that achieves discipline and preserves the civilized appearance of the city.
