The South Sinai Endowments Directorate implemented the activity of Holy Qur’an memorization offices in the governorate’s mosques, within the framework of its advocacy mission aimed at instilling faith values and Islamic morals in the hearts of young people and youth, and strengthening their connection to the Book of God (Glory be to Him).
Regularity of the Holy Quran memorization sessions
The mosques of various cities witnessed the regularity of memorization circles, as memorizers were keen to present the scientific material using simplified educational methods that take into account individual differences, while paying attention to correcting the recitation according to the provisions of Tajweed, in addition to explaining the general meanings of the verses in a way that contributes to building an enlightened religious awareness.
Memorization offices also focused on raising a generation that is aware of the values of its religion, proud of its identity, and capable of confronting false ideas, through a moderate approach that reflects the truth and tolerance of Islam.
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Endowments’ interest in spreading enlightened moderate thought, under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, and under the supervision of His Eminence Sheikh Al-Sayyid Youssef, Director of the South Sinai Endowments Directorate.
It is worth noting that the South Sinai Endowments memorize the Holy Qur’an through mosques and teach young people the basics of memorizing the Holy Qur’an using sound methods.
