The artist posted Nevin Mandoura picture of her created by artificial intelligence in a hijab a few hours before her death, at the age of 53, as a result of a fire that broke out in her apartment in Alexandria, which led to her suffocation.

The accident and its circumstances
The artist Sherif Idris announced, through his Facebook account, the artist’s death, saying: “There is no god but God. The good, beautiful friend Nevin Mandour has passed away. May God have mercy on you and be kind to you.”
Sherif revealed to a local media outlet that Nevin Mandour was killed as a result of the fire that broke out in her apartment in the Asafra area, which caused her to suffocate before an attempt was made to save her.
The artist also mourned the late Liqaa Al-Khamisi, saying: “Rest in peace.”
Engineer Mustafa, one of her neighbors, announced in a post on his Facebook page that the artist Nevin Mandour left our world suffocating due to a fire in her house in Asafra, which led to her death, according to what I learned from the family.
Investigations and the Public Prosecution
The Montazah Thani Prosecution Office in Alexandria is investigating the artist’s death. Forensic experts have been assigned to remove traces of the fire, determine its beginning and end, complete detective investigations, and question eyewitnesses.
The artist’s body was also kept in the morgue and the health inspector was assigned to conduct a medical examination on her, while a member of the prosecution went to inspect the accident site on the fourth floor of the 13-storey residential tower.
