The Marj area witnessed a tragic incident, after a young man killed the mother of his former fiancée inside the apartment where she lived, following previous disputes between them over the break-up of the engagement.
A young man ends the life of his ex-fiancée’s mother
Investigations revealed that the accused was engaged to the victim’s daughter, and was working with her in a shoe factory, before he left work about two months ago. Details indicated that the girl’s mother refused to complete the engagement after it became clear to her that the young man was not working, and decided to end the relationship.
The investigations added that the young man wanted to complete the marriage despite breaking off the engagement, and he went to the apartment rented by the girl’s mother, where a verbal altercation broke out between them, before he assaulted her with a knife and fatally stabbed her, killing her instantly.
