Major General Engineer Hani Rashad, Governor of Suez, said that adherence to environmental requirements in waste disposal represents a top priority for preserving the health of citizens, stressing the necessity of taking full advantage of the garbage recycling plant and maximizing its role in producing organic fertilizer and achieving a qualitative shift in the hygiene system within the governorate.

The governor added in press statements that the current work plan aims to develop the health landfill and raise its efficiency, in addition to organizing the entry and exit of equipment and vehicles in a way that contributes to accelerating performance and improving the level of services, stressing that good management and optimal operation of available capabilities are the basis for eliminating accumulations.
He pointed out that the governorate is working in parallel to develop heavy transport garages and prevent trucks from entering the residential block to maintain roads and infrastructure and reduce traffic congestion, with an emphasis on training workers on safety procedures and the use of civil protection equipment.
The Governor of Suez explained that there is a comprehensive plan to raise the efficiency of cleaning and beauty equipment garages, which includes an accurate inventory of equipment and vehicles and the preparation of periodic maintenance programs, in addition to educating drivers on safe operating methods to preserve public assets.
The governor confirmed the continuation of monitoring campaigns to control markets, follow up on food safety, and shops’ adherence to closing times, noting that these measures aim to protect citizens and rationalize energy consumption.
He stressed the importance of concerted efforts of executive agencies and citizens, and raising public awareness to maintain the cleanliness of the city and improve its civilized appearance, stressing that the current stage requires working in a team spirit to confront challenges and achieve stability.
