On Tuesday, the authorities in Poland announced the temporary closure of Rzeszow and Lublin airports, according to what Reuters reported.

Airports closed in Poland

According to the report, the decision was due to military aviation operations, the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) announced on Tuesday.

Polish military commanders explained that military aviation operations began within the country’s airspace following strikes carried out by the long-range air forces of the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory.

In another context, representatives of Ukraine and Russia will meet in Geneva on Tuesday and Wednesday for a new round of US-brokered peace talks, which the Kremlin says are likely to focus on territory, which is the main point of contention.

US President Donald Trump is pressing Moscow and Kiev to reach an agreement to end the largest war in Europe since 1945, although Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has complained that his country is facing the greatest amount of pressure to make concessions.
