Red meat prices witnessed remarkable stability today, Sunday, March 29, 2026, according to the latest bulletin issued by the Local and International Prices Portal of the Information and Decision Support Center of the Council of Ministers, amid daily monitoring of price movements in provincial markets and butcher shops.

Meat prices in the markets

The price stabilized A kilo of lamb meat Net, the average amounted to about 427 pounds per kilo, and ranged between 300 and 500 pounds.

The price of bone-in lamb also stabilized, recording an average of 397 pounds per kilo, and ranged between 300 and 480 pounds.

Regarding veal meat, the price of pure veal stabilized at an average of 432 pounds per kilo, and ranged between 350 and 500 pounds, while the price of veal with bones stabilized at an average of 396 pounds, and ranged between 320 and 500 pounds per kilo.

Prices of kunduz meat stabilized, with old kunduz recording an average of 352 pounds per kilo, ranging between 250 and 400 pounds, while young kunduz stabilized at an average of 410 pounds per kilo, ranging between 350 and 500 pounds, while medium-aged kunduz settled at 402 pounds per kilo, ranging between 330 and 450 pounds.
