The makers of the Art of War series, starring Youssef El Sharif, are currently filming the work in preparation for showing it in Ramadan 2026, and Merit Omar Hariri embodies Sheri Adel’s mother during the work.

In exclusive statements to Cairo 24, Merit Omar Al-Hariri said: I embody the role of Sheri Adel’s mother, a very kind mother, and the role is completely far from what I previously presented in embodying the role of a difficult mother who controls everything, but I hope that the audience will like the role and work.
She talked about her cooperation with Youssef Al-Sharif, expressing her happiness in cooperating with him, stressing that he is always developing and different, saying: I am happy to cooperate and work with Youssef Al-Sharif, it is something different and constantly renewed, and he loves work and work is different because he presents a completely new personality to him.
Merritt Omar Al-Hariri added: Working with director Mahmoud Abdel Tawab is very enjoyable and wonderful, and I give everyone the opportunity. He is very creative in the role, and I regret that I did not work with him before. He is a very distinguished director.

A number of artists participate in the Art of War series alongside Youssef Al-Sharif, most notably: Reem Mustafa, Sheri Adel, Islam Ibrahim, Donia Sami, Muhammad Jumaa, Karim Adriano, Walid Fawaz, Engy Salama, Kamal Abu Rayya, Merit Omar Al-Hariri, Karim Abdel-Jawad, Yasser Ali Maher, Muhammad Fathi, Donia Jumaa, Abeer Farouk, Bossi Al-Shami, Shorouk Ibrahim, and the work is directed by Mahmoud Abdel Tawab, and written by Amr Samir Atef.
