The Qalyubia Supply Directorate was able to seize a tourist bakery in the Toukh district, in possession of a ton of fine flour without invoices proving its source, as part of the intensive monitoring campaigns on bakeries and commercial activities.

This campaign came in implementation of the instructions of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Engineer Hossam Abdel Fattah, Governor of Qalyubia, and the directives of Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Qalyubia, to intensify campaigns on all supply and commercial activities to ensure their compliance with the law and the protection of citizens.

Issuing a misdemeanor report against the bakery official

The campaign also resulted in the issuance of a misdemeanor report against the bakery official, and the seizure of 20 bags of flour, each weighing 50 kg, with a total of one ton. Also, 11 misdemeanor reports were issued against multiple commercial activities for not announcing prices.

The Directorate confirmed that campaigns continue non-stop to ensure deterring violators and protecting the rights of citizens, with an emphasis on full compliance with decisions and laws.
