Within the framework of instructions issued by Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Dr. Eng. Hossam Abdel Fattah, Governor of Qalyubia, to continue intensifying the supervisory presence, the Qalyubia Supply Directorate implemented intensive and deliberate campaigns across the governorate to control markets and ensure that catering activities adhere to the laws and regulating decisions.
Qalyubia Catering intensifies monitoring campaigns and issues 33 violations to control markets and protect citizens
Based on the directives of Dr. Tamer Salah Mukhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply In QalyubiaToday’s campaigns included the areas of the West Shubra Al-Kheima, Shebin Al-Qanater, Al-Qanater Al-Khairiya, and Qaha neighborhoods, where municipal bakeries were visited to ensure the production of subsidized local bread according to weights and specifications, and to follow up on the regularity of the disbursement process and provide goods to citizens without overcrowding or crowding. The inspection tours also included various commercial activities to ensure compliance with decisions and laws.
The efforts of these campaigns resulted in issuing a number of (27) catering violations to bakeries, which included producing bread that was underweight or did not meet specifications, closing stores during official working hours, not having a operating menu, unclean dough tools, and not issuing coupons to citizens.
(1) misdemeanor reports were also issued against a supermarket for not announcing prices and possession of (10) kilograms of minced meat without source data, in addition to (5) other misdemeanor reports against supermarkets, two frozen stores, and a poultry store for not announcing prices.
As part of following up on the distribution of goods, the Qanater Charity Supply Department supervised the distribution of gas cylinders in the village of Sindbis, to ensure their availability and follow up the distribution movement to serve the people of the region.
The Qalyubia Supply Directorate confirmed that monitoring campaigns and field presence continue intensively to protect citizens and deter violators, while taking all legal measures regarding violations to ensure the stability of markets and the health of citizens.
