Pyramids Club began its administrative preparations to participate in the Intercontinental Cup, as the club began completing travel procedures to the Qatari capital, Doha, in preparation for the upcoming confrontation within the tournament’s competitions.

Cairo 24 learned from its sources that the Pyramids delegation will travel to Qatar on December 10, in a move aimed at the team arriving early before the match, giving the technical staff and players sufficient time to adapt to the atmosphere and complete technical and physical preparations.

The Pyramids Club’s administrative staff will, within hours, coordinate all the details related to the trip, from accommodation arrangements and training fields through to the mission program in Doha, to ensure providing the best possible atmosphere for the team.

Pyramids is seeking to provide a strong participation in the new international tournament, in light of the great administrative support and the desire of the technical staff, led by Kruslav Jurcic, to reach the highest level of readiness before the awaited match.

The Flamengo team has qualified for the Intercontinental Cup, where it will compete in the quarter-finals of the “Cup of the Americas” at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha, on December 10, against Mexico’s Cruz Azul, the North American champion.

The winner of the Americas Cup match qualifies for the Intercontinental Cup semi-finals and will play in the Challenge Cup match against Pyramids, which qualifies after defeating Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahly Jeddah by three in the Three Confederations Cup match. The Challenge Cup match will be next December 13 at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha.
