
Poultry markets witnessed Aswan Today, Thursday 2/19/2026, there is a state of relative stability in its prices.
The prices of all kinds of poultry vary from one market to another and from one seller to another as well, specifically the markets of the centers of Aswan Governorate. There was no difference in the prices of poultry being traded today compared to yesterday, except in some places of sale and offers to attract the attention of the people to buy quantities of poultry.
The prices were as follows: The price of a plate of eggs ranged between 165 and 170 pounds, and the price of white chicken ranged between 80 and 85 pounds per kilo, and there are some offers on them from some stores, and kofta and burgers made from chicken are priced at 150 pounds, according to a weight-based plate system.

While the rest of the prices remained stable, the price of red chicken reached 120 pounds per kilo, stuffed chicken 118 pounds, local duck 165 pounds, pigeon 220 pounds, chicken leg 90 pounds per kilo, chicken drumstick 135 pounds per kilo, and the sale of a kilo of wings ranged between 60 and 90 pounds per kilo.
While the price of a kilo of penne was between 195 and 210 pounds per kilo, and the price of a lying pigeon was 95 pounds, the price of a kilo of pure liver was 150 pounds, the price of a kilo of liver and gizzards was 140 pounds, in addition to the chicken shawarma pieces, 240 pounds per kilo, and the price of shish tawook was 165 pounds per kilo.
Poultry prices in Aswan Governorate differ from other governorates on the sea side, due to the governorate’s remoteness and geographical location, so the markets depend on the daily stock exchange for prices, whether rising or falling.
It should be noted that many people flock to the weekly markets to buy their various supplies of food commodities, meat, poultry, and vegetables, due to the reasonable prices for them compared to the permanent local markets.
