I witnessed Port Said Governorate During the past 24 hours, important events took place, as Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Port Said, congratulated the Coptic brothers on the occasion of the glorious Resurrection Day, expressing his wishes for good health and happiness for them, stressing that the occasion reflects the depth of love and brotherhood among the people of the country. He also stressed that Egyptians are one fabric united by a history of unity and solidarity, in addition to his praise of the role of the Egyptian Church in consolidating the values ​​of citizenship and supporting the stability of society.

Continue Governor He made his extensive field tours, where he inspected the development work on Muhammad Al-Mankhali Street in the Al-Zohour district, and directed that the work be quickly completed according to the highest quality standards. He also directed the preparation of a comprehensive vision for the development of Al-Mansheya Square in the Al-Sharq district in a manner befitting its vital location, in addition to following up on the work of raising the efficiency of the Beach Park and removing waste, stressing the speed of completion and improving the level of services provided to citizens.

The governor also followed up on the work of removing waste and spraying in the Club Land area, stressing the continuation of efforts in coordination with the concerned authorities to achieve a clean environment. He also followed up on the development of the Omar bin Al-Khattab and Ali bin Abi Talib areas in the Al-Zuhur neighborhood, where he directed the expansion of green areas and an increase in afforestation rates, in addition to adhering to the timetables set for completing the projects, which contributes to improving the quality of life for about 16,000 citizens.

The governorate also witnessed intense activity in the humanitarian aid file, as the governor received 44 humanitarian cases and provided financial and in-kind assistance estimated at approximately 300 thousand pounds, which included food supplies, meat, blankets, and electric chairs. He stressed the continuation of these meetings to ensure that support reaches those who deserve it, within the framework of the directives of the political leadership to communicate directly with citizens and reduce the burdens on them.

As part of the preparations for the spring holidays, the governor inspected Port Said Beach in the Al-Arab and Al-Manakh neighborhoods, where he directed to raise the efficiency of the beach and oblige cafeterias to provide garbage bins, while deploying 45 lifeguards along the beach to ensure the safety of citizens, stressing the necessity of full coordination between the concerned authorities for celebrations to take place in a civilized manner.

On the other hand, the neighborhoods and the city of Port Fouad raised the highest level of preparedness, as monitoring campaigns, cleaning work, and maintenance of green spaces intensified, in addition to campaigns to remove occupancy, impose discipline on the streets, and ensure adherence to store closing times, in a way that reflects the civilized appearance of the governorate.
