It was decided to adjust the prices of some petroleum products and automobile fuel gas in light of the exceptional circumstances that global energy markets are going through
Starting today, Tuesday, March 10, at three in the morning, as follows:

Gasoline 95 from 21 to 24 pounds per liter

Gasoline 92 from 19.25 to 22.25 pounds per liter

Gasoline 80 from 17.75 to 20.75 pounds per liter

Solar from 17.5 to 20.5 pounds per liter

Gas stove from 225 to 275 pounds for a 12.5 kg cylinder

From 450 to 550 pounds for a 25 kg cylinder

Gas supply for cars ranges from 10 to 13 pounds per meter

This comes in light of the exceptional situation resulting from geopolitical developments in the Middle East region and their direct effects on global energy markets, which led to a significant rise in the cost of imports and local production. Disturbances in supply chains, high levels of risks, and increased costs of sea shipping and insurance resulted in a major jump in the prices of crude oil and petroleum products globally, levels that energy markets have not witnessed for years.

In the face of these challenges, the state continues its efforts to enhance local production, advance exploration work and develop Egypt’s oil and gas resources, by motivating investment partners to expand their activities, within the framework of working to reduce the import bill.

The government is closely following market and cost developments, within the framework of working to sustain the supply of petroleum products and gas to citizens and all sectors of the state.

It also confirms that any exceptional measures taken come within the framework of responsible management of current international challenges, while preserving energy security and local market stability as a top priority.
