A 5-year-old child was killed after he fell from the top of a wall inside his house in the village of Al-Samta, in the Al-Balina Center, south of Sohag Governorate, and the body was transported to Pardis Central Hospital.

Major General Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Security of Sohag, received a notification from the warden of the Balina Police Station, stating that a report had been received of a child falling and dying within the center’s jurisdiction.

Immediately, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Saber, Chief of Investigations at the Balina Police Station, and Captain Taher Hamed, Assistant Detectives, moved to the scene of the incident. Upon examination, it was found that the child, named Ahmed Yasser Abdel Hamid, 5 years old, fell from the top wall of his house, which led to his immediate death. The body was transferred to the hospital at the disposal of the investigating authorities.

Upon signing the medical examination of the body, the health inspector reported that there was no criminal suspicion, and the burial of the body was authorized after the completion of the necessary legal procedures, a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the investigating authorities were notified to initiate investigations.
