Ihab Abu Jazar, the coach of the Palestinian first national football team, spoke after the exciting victory over Qatar in the first round of the 2025 Arab Cup.

Ihab Abu Jazar said in television statements: Praise be to God, we achieved a valuable victory over Qatar, the Asian champions, with our young players.
He added: The first victory, and we are happy, and a thousand million congratulations to the champion players in every sense of the word. We were able to snatch a valuable victory from a strong international team, the Asian champion, the host, the landowner, and the audience. It is very important for us, and the 3 points are very, very important.
Ihab Abu Jazar pointed out in his statements: We are renewed in the national team, and this is a transitional period for young and new players, but the victory is precious, and I dedicate the victory to proud Gaza and to our martyrs and prisoners. We received many telephone calls from Gaza saying we would make them happy and strengthen our tricks.
He concluded his statements by saying: A relative spoke to me after the Libya match and said that all of Gaza was happy because of the victory, and he told me that all of Gaza was happy and that despite the rain, they heard sounds of applause and joy while they were in the tents, so they learned that the team had won.
