Ahmed Abdullah, Executive Director of Z Club, expressed his happiness over Z Club’s qualification to the Egypt Cup final, by defeating Tala’ea El Gaish by three goals to one after overtime.

Abdullah said, during television statements, “We left the top 7 in the league because of Hossam Abdel Majeed’s missed penalty kick against Enppi in the 96th minute, and we sat with the players and agreed to close the league file temporarily to focus on facing Tala’a El Gaish in the Egypt Cup final.”
The Executive Director of the Z Club confirmed that Mohamed Shawqi, the team’s coach, gives confidence to the Z players, and that the team has been performing at a distinguished level in the recent period.
He added, “We are striving in the coming period to enter the competition strongly and compete with the big boys in the league and cup tournaments.”
Abdullah: Zaid wants to promote a number of juniors
Abdullah pointed out that the Z Club is currently seeking to promote a number of youngsters to the ranks of the first team, adding that the Z Club is one of the most clubs in Egypt that does this.
Abdullah revealed the presence of two players from the youth sector of Club Z at the Portuguese club Porto, explaining: “Karim Gomaa and Omar Abu Talib are going to live with the Porto club for two weeks, and God willing, it will be a successful step and this is in the interest of the club and in the interest of Egyptian football.”
