The Orman Association (30) is organizing a large exhibition to distribute new clothes “for free” in the various governorates of the Republic, coinciding with the approaching Eid al-Fitr.
Major General Mamdouh Shaaban, Director General of the Orman Association, confirmed that organizing the exhibitions came with the aim of relieving the burden on parents and putting a smile on the faces of their children, and in continuation of the Orman strategy in providing qualitative support, as the goal is not limited to providing material assistance only, but extends to include the moral aspect and sharing with families the joy of holidays and religious occasions, in a way that enhances the values of social solidarity and community participation.
He explained that the exhibitions aim to provide Eid clothes for children and families of various age groups within the villages and hamlets most in need, as the exhibitions include a wide variety of new clothes that suit different ages and tastes, so that each individual can choose what suits him with complete freedom, stressing that the exhibitions include the governorates of Upper Egypt, the Delta, and the border governorates, to ensure that support reaches those who deserve it in the remotest areas.
Regarding the distribution mechanism, he said that distribution is carried out through an accurate database and according to the needs of poor families and eligible cases, which are identified through conducting field research to reach the target groups in coordination with the social solidarity directorates to ensure that aid reaches the families most in need of care.
It is worth noting that the Orman Association continues to implement a package of development and service projects in addition to clothing exhibitions, including distributing food cartons, supporting the marriage of orphan girls, performing surgical operations, and installing clean water connections, within an integrated vision to serve Egyptian society.
