A young man was killed and another injured, on the second day of Eid al-Fitr, as a result of a collision between two motorcycles on the road to the village of Zamlouti, in Fayoum Governorate. The body and the injured person were transported to the hospital, and a report was issued regarding the incident.

The security services of the Security Directorate received Fayoum A report was issued by the Chief of the First Fayoum Police Department, stating that a signal had been received from the police operations room indicating that he had received a report of a collision between two motorcycles on the Zamlouti Agricultural Road, in the department’s district, and that there were injured people. A force of police and ambulances moved to the location of the report, and it was found that a collision had occurred between two bikes, resulting in the death of one of the two young men on the spot, and the other suffering from separate body injuries.
The ambulance service sent a number of cars, and the injured person was transported to the emergency department to receive the necessary medical care, while the body of the deceased was transferred to the Fayoum General Hospital morgue at the disposal of the investigating authorities.
A report was drawn up on the incident, the motorcycle that caused the accident was seized, and it is being presented to the Public Prosecution to initiate investigations and take the necessary legal measures.
