The young man’s father had previously revealed the details of the last moments of his son’s life, explaining that Hassan was killed after rescuing 13 girls from inside a microbus that fell into the water as a result of a tire explosion. Although he could not swim, Hassan rushed into the water and was able to break the back door of the vehicle and take the girls out one by one, before he lost his strength and drowned in a heroic scene that made everyone cry.
The martyr’s father indicated that his son moved to work in Sinai in search of a source of livelihood that would provide a better life for his small family, stressing that the accident occurred only two days before his birthday, and that he had prepared a cake for him to celebrate before he received the shocking news of his death.
