The New Valley Governorate warned citizens against moving on highways unless absolutely necessary, and to avoid walking on them at the present time due to dust storms and the wave of bad weather hitting the cities and villages of the governorate.
Winds causing dust on the roads
The governorate said in a statement that, due to the bad weather conditions and the activity of dusty winds, the governorate recommends that citizens exercise caution while driving, reduce movements as much as possible, and avoid highways unless necessary, until weather conditions stabilize.
Today, Wednesday, the New Valley Governorate witnessed severe dust storms, in addition to a rise in temperatures, which led to intensified traffic campaigns on the highways amid unstable weather and lack of traffic visibility. The Operations and Crisis Room continues to follow up, receive any reports, and control in the event of accidents or disasters resulting from dust storms and unstable weather.
