Actress Nadia Shukri revealed the details of her crisis with the artistic producer of the series “A Very Egyptian Family.”

Nadia Shukri said that she was surprised to be excluded from work after she received a deposit and an agreement was made with her to participate in the work championship.

She added, in special statements to “Sada El Balad”: “I agreed to star and gave up a large portion of my wages out of appreciation and support for Egyptian Television, in addition to the fact that the artistic producer is a friend of my daughter. A working session was held with the artistic producer, who is not affiliated with Egyptian Television, but rather with one of the companies executing the work for the television, and the director to learn about the details of the character, and the deposit was paid, until I started buying the character’s clothes, but I was surprised to be excluded from work under the pretext of changing the director. She has the right to change the work team. I remained silent. The union intervened to get the deposit, until I was surprised that the artistic producer denied that he had contracted with me and that I was merely nominated, in addition to my nomination for a role that consisted of only two scenes.”

She continued: “I respect and appreciate Egyptian television, and I gave up the bulk of my wages in support of my country’s television, and I also appreciate and respect Mr. Ahmed Al-Maslamani.”
