Famous leaker Evan Blass revealed new details regarding the images that appeared last week of a new Motorola phone in the Moto G series.

At first, many thought that the images belonged to a new version of the Moto G Stylus, especially with expectations that Motorola would launch a version bearing the name 2026 to distinguish it from the 2025 version currently available.

Although the timing of the leak seemed early, as Motorola usually updates the Moto G Stylus series in April or May, the images did not show any slot designated for the pen, which raised doubts about the identity of the device. Here, Evan Blass confirms that the phone is not the Moto G Stylus as some thought.

Instead, the leaker indicates that the images belong to a new Moto G Power phone, a device about which the first information appeared since last May. The similarity between the Moto G Power series and the Moto G Stylus appears great, as Motorola phones from the G and Edge series have shared a single design language in recent years.

However, looking at the recently leaked images, it turns out that they exactly match the promotional images of the Moto G Power (2026) that appeared in previous reports.

Since Motorola had launched the Moto G Power (2025) last January, it makes sense that this would be its direct successor. With the exception of new colors such as blue and white, the design does not appear to have witnessed major changes between the two generations, while the full specifications of the phone are still unknown yet.
