In an achievement added to the record of the people of Fayoum Governorate, student Jenny Ehab, daughter of Al-Jumhuriya village, Tamiya Center in Fayoum, succeeded in winning first place in the world during her participation in the Dubai International Holy Quran Competition, after a strong competition that included more than 5,000 contestants from 105 countries, in one of the most prominent international competitions in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran.

In exclusive statements to Cairo 24, Jana Ehab expressed her great happiness with this coronation, stressing that the victory came after a long journey of diligence and continuous family support.
Jana said that her father was the one who introduced her to the competition, and he always believed in her ability to achieve great achievement, even though she did not expect to win this world title, noting that she went through the experience with the aim of learning and gaining experience more than anything else.
She added that she dedicates this victory to her father and mother, in appreciation of their great support throughout her journey with memorizing the Holy Qur’an, stressing that what she has achieved is the result of their hard work with her and their constant encouragement.
Jana explained that she felt a great responsibility during the competition, especially with the presence of such a large number of contestants from different countries of the world, but she was keen to focus and give her best without paying attention to the size of the competition.
She also expressed her astonishment at the great reception she received within her village, saying: “I did not expect this great reception from the people of my village, and I am very happy with their love and support for me,” stressing that this popular appreciation represents a strong motivation for her to continue on the path to success.
She pointed out that the moment the result was announced was one of the happiest moments of her life, as she could not hold back her tears of joy, especially after raising Egypt’s name high in this international forum.
Jana concluded her statements with a message to the youth to adhere to the Holy Qur’an and strive to achieve their dreams, stressing that success requires patience, a strong will, and trust in God.
