This season is scheduled to be Mohamed Salah’s last with Liverpool, after the Egyptian star officially announced this through his official accounts on social media.
Mohamed Salah broke many historical records in a Liverpool shirt, whether in terms of goals, contributions or individual awards.
On the personal level, he succeeded in writing his name in golden letters in the history of football, especially within the most prestigious European competitions, becoming one of its most prominent stars throughout the ages.
At the level of group tournaments, Mohamed Salah won the English Premier League title twice with Liverpool, the European Champions League once, the FA Cup once, the European Super Cup once, the Club World Cup once, and the English League Cup once, in addition to the Charity Shield title.
As for the individual level, Salah won the English Professional League Player of the Season award 3 times, as the most decorated player in the history of the Premier League. He was also crowned the league’s top scorer 4 times, won the Best Playmaker Award twice, appeared in the Professional League’s squad of the season 4 times, won the Liverpool Player of the Season award 5 times, was also in the Champions League squad of the season once, and won the Puskas Award presented by “FIFA.”
At the level of records, Salah has become the fourth all-time top scorer in the English Premier League with 191 goals, and the third all-time top scorer for Liverpool with 255 goals. He is also considered the most goal-scoring African player in the Premier League, as well as the most goals-produced African player in the English Premier League with 92 assists.
Salah has many distinguished numbers, most notably the highest number of contributions in a single season in the Premier League, historically, with 47 contributions, and the highest number of goals in the league opener, with 10 goals, in addition to the highest number of contributions in one month, with 14 contributions.
He is also considered the player who has contributed the most to one club in the history of the English Premier League, with 281 contributions, and the most who has won the Player of the Month award in one season (3 times), and the most who has been crowned with it historically (7 times), in addition to recording 44 contributions in his first season in the Premier League, as one of the best starts in the history of the tournament.
Mohamed Salah is considered Liverpool’s all-time top scorer in the Champions League, and one of the players who scored the most goals in the tournament for an English club.
