Today, Wednesday, Matrouh Governorate and the North Coast witnessed moderate rain in several areas, which led to a drop in temperatures and an improvement in the atmosphere after a wave of high temperatures.
Meteorologists expected sporadic rainfall to continue on the coasts of the Mediterranean, including the cities of Marsa Matrouh, El Alamein, and Burj Al Arab. Meteorology also confirmed that the rain will be accompanied by active winds, which may cause fluctuations in the weather.
The Meteorological Authority has warned citizens of the need to be careful while driving on highways that witness water accumulations.
In the same context, officials in Matrouh Governorate indicated that emergency teams are fully prepared to deal with any emergency situations, while the northern coast is witnessing a gradual improvement in weather conditions as the hours pass.
