The Luxor Governorate Water and Sanitation Company announced, in an official statement, that the water pressure in the Deir Sharq area of the center and city of Esna will weaken tomorrow, Saturday, December 13.
Water stations affected by power outages
The company explained that the lack of water will begin at eight in the morning, and will continue until the completion of the electricity maintenance work scheduled at the same time.
The company attributed the reason for this weakness to the power outage from the Al-Deir East conveyor station and the Al-Deir East water lifter, as a result of the electricity company carrying out necessary maintenance work in the area, which directly affects the efficiency of water pumping during the work period.
Warnings to bakeries and hospitals and providing alternatives
In a related context, the company called on all citizens living in the aforementioned area, in addition to the owners of bakeries, hospitals, and vital entities, to manage their water needs in advance to avoid any shortage that may arise during the maintenance period.
