Within the framework of the directives of Major General Governor Assiut By intensifying ration campaigns at the governorate level, and under the leadership of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, intensive monitoring campaigns were implemented on markets, ration establishments, and municipal bakeries, with the aim of tightening supervision, controlling violations, and confronting price manipulation.

These campaigns resulted in the issuance of 857 reports, the most prominent results of which were as follows: First: in the field of markets

134 kg of meat, liver, entrails and fats unfit for human consumption were seized.

Seizing a quarter ton of unfit for consumption edible oil.

Gas stations were seized for collecting 9,000 liters of diesel fuel illegally.

3,300 packages of sugary drinks and 1,068 pieces of candy were seized without invoices.

Seizing expired cosmetics.

Controlling agricultural pesticides without invoices.

Seizing expired paints and others without documents.

84 bottles of rationing oil were seized inside a grocery store.

630 kg of mixed pickles of unknown origin were seized.

Seizing expired food goods and others of unknown origin.

Various food violations

Editing 5 closing minutes for catering merchants.

20 reports were issued for not announcing the prices of food rations.

Issuing 10 minutes for not keeping an inspection record.

4 reports were issued for not giving cash to citizens.

Editing 6 minutes of closing gas warehouses.

5 reports were issued for non-receipt of the stove quota.

23 reports were issued for not announcing the prices of butane cylinders.

Issuing a report for illegal disposal of 100 small stove cylinders in a warehouse.

Issuing two reports for the use of butane cylinders for purposes other than their intended purpose.

Reports were issued for the sale of tourist bread at a higher price.

Reports were issued for the sale of fino bread at a higher price.

14 reports were issued for selling cigarettes at more than the official price.

61 reports were issued for failure to announce prices in shops, cafes and restaurants.

6 records were issued for not holding health certificates.

Second: In the field of municipal bakeries

674 minutes were issued for municipal bakeries, ranging from:

Lack of bread weight and non-compliance with specifications.

Lack of hygiene.

No advertising dashboard.

Partial cessation of work.

Lack of balance.

Disposing of quantities of fortified flour.

Not giving Bonus exchange to citizens.

The Supply Directorate in Assiut confirms the continuation of its intensive monitoring campaigns to control markets, protect the rights of citizens, and take all legal measures against violators.
