The competent investigation authorities are investigating a tuk-tuk driver for assaulting his sister in El-Sharabiya, Cairo.

The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a post supported by a video clip circulated on social media sites, which included the driver of a tuk-tuk assaulting a woman by beating her in the Sharabiya area in Cairo.

Upon examination, it was revealed that no reports had been received in this regard, and it was possible to identify and arrest the person shown in the video clip, a tuk-tuk driver – a resident of the Sharabiya Police Department.
When confronted, he stated that on February 21, a verbal altercation occurred between him and his sister, shown in the video clip, during which he assaulted her due to family disputes between them. Upon questioning the aforementioned woman, she confirmed the above, and legal measures were taken.
