Within the framework of the directives of His Excellency Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and the instructions of Dr. Engineer Hossam Abdel Fattah, Governor of Qalyubia, to intensify the supervisory presence to control markets and provide basic goods, the Qalyubia Supply Directorate continued its expanded inspection campaigns in various centers of the governorate.

The campaigns were headed by Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Qalyubia, and within the framework of tight oversight plans aimed at tightening control over markets and ensuring the quality of services provided to citizens.

Intensive rationing campaigns in Qalyubia caught 23 violations and tightened control over bakeries and gas stations.

In this context, the Supply Control Department implemented In the directorateIn cooperation with the Governance Department, a surprise campaign was carried out in the areas of Qalyoub Center, Qalyoub Al-Mahatta, Kom Ashfin, and Al-Saadna, which resulted in issuing 15 catering violations in municipal bakeries, which varied between the production of underweight bread, the absence of a usable scale, the production of bread that did not conform to specifications, the lack of clean kneading tools, and the failure to give cash registers to citizens, in addition to the lack of a working list and a record of visits by inspectors.
The campaign also included visits to gas stations to ensure compliance with regulating laws, in addition to inspecting the “New Testament” mill in the Mit Halfa district, where the dispensing of flour was monitored, a technical procedure was carried out on the weight of the bottle, and a technical report was written to avoid some observations that might affect the quality of the flour produced.
On a related level, the Qalyoub Center and City Supply Administration carried out another campaign targeting bakeries in the Manti and Mit Halfa areas, and resulted in issuing 6 similar catering violations, in addition to issuing two misdemeanor reports against two tourist bakeries for practicing the activity without a license and not adhering to announcing prices and weights.
The Qalyubia Supply Directorate confirmed the continuation of intensive monitoring campaigns at the governorate level, to control markets, deter violators, ensure that support reaches those who deserve it, and provide goods to citizens with the required quality.
