The Supply Directorate in Qalyubia continues Intensifying monitoring campaigns and field follow-up Butane depots and gas stations, to ensure compliance with the decisions and regulating laws and the official price set for sale.

This comes in light of the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Engineer Hossam Abdel Fattah, Governor of Qalyubia, to intensify the supervisory presence in the markets, and in implementation of strict instructions from Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Qalyubia.

The Internal Trade Department of the Directorate participated, with the Qanater Charity Supply Department, in supervising the distribution of butane gas cylinders in a number of areas, including the Butajesco warehouse in Shalqan, the Arab Al-Harith warehouse, and the village of Sindbis, where 3 Butagasco cars were distributed to serve the people of the Sundbis village at the Qanater al-Khairiyah Center.

The distribution of cylinders was also supervised in Al-Munira village, Al-Hawala village, and Ezbet Al-Sayyid Muhammad, in order to ensure their availability to citizens at the official announced price, and to prevent any attempts to monopolize or manipulate prices.

For his part, Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Qalyubia, confirmed the continuation of intensive field monitoring of butane warehouses in all centers and villages of the governorate, to ensure the regularity of distribution operations and the availability of the necessary quantities for citizens, stressing that legal measures will be taken regarding any violations, within the framework of the state’s keenness to protect the rights of citizens and reduce the burdens on them.
