Implemented by the Supply Department in Shubra Al-Kheima district In Qalyubia A sudden crackdown on bakeries and commercial activities resulted in the issuance of 5 case reports against municipal bakeries for violations that included the production of underweight bread that did not meet specifications, the absence of an operating menu, and the lack of clean kneading tools, in addition to the issuance of a report against the “My Association” outlet for not announcing prices.

Within the framework of the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Engineer Hossam Abdel Fattah, Governor of Qalyubia, to intensify supervision of the markets, and under the instructions of Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Qalyubia, and under the follow-up of Engineer Amal Abdel Qawi, Undersecretary of the Directorate, the Supply Directorate continued its intensive inspection campaigns.

The administration also launched another campaign in the West Shubra Al-Kheima neighborhood, which resulted in issuing 5 reports against stores (feed, poultry, and grocery) for not announcing prices.
The Directorate confirmed the continuation of intensive monitoring campaigns to control markets, protect citizens, and confront all forms of fraud and manipulation.
