Dr. Jihan Al-Qattan, head of the Basyoun Center and City, led an extensive night cleaning campaign targeting the Salmoniya Canal area – Sikkat Al-Wasat, to remove the accumulations of garbage and waste that affect public health and distort the aesthetic appearance of the area.
Intensive campaigns to remove waste and improve the level of cleanliness in Basyoun
The campaign resulted in the removal of large quantities of waste using the local unit’s equipment, while pushing work teams to work around the clock to ensure the continued level of cleanliness and prevent accumulations from returning again, especially in vital, densely populated areas.
The head of Basyoun Center and City confirmed that the campaigns come within an integrated plan that includes implementing daily and nightly cleaning work in all streets and squares, with the aim of providing a clean and safe environment for citizens, stressing the importance of community cooperation in preserving the work that is being accomplished.
She added that the presidency of the Basyoun Center and City continues to intensify campaigns in all sectors, while raising the degree of readiness and full coordination between the work teams, to achieve the best level of services, in a manner befitting the citizens and reflecting the civilized appearance of the city.
This comes within the framework of implementing the directives of Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moati, Governor of Gharbia, regarding raising the efficiency of the cleaning system and improving the level of services provided to citizens. The Presidency of the Center and City of Basyoun continued its intensive efforts to improve the cultural appearance and improve the general environment.
