Improving the level of hygiene
The Governor of Giza followed the efforts of the Agouza neighborhood campaigns and the Cleaning and Beautification Authority in implementing an expanded campaign that included the areas of Ard El-Lewa, Nahia, Lebanon Square, and Ahmed Orabi Street, to eliminate the “Fariza” gathering spots, remove their waste and encroachments from the public road, and take the necessary legal measures against violators.
The efforts resulted in removing large quantities of milling and sorting waste and improving the level of cleanliness.
For his part, Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, confirmed that the governorate is continuing to implement its intensive campaigns to address all manifestations of occupancy and garbage sorting violations, stressing that there will be no tolerance for any practices that harm public health or hinder the movement of citizens, and that maintaining cleanliness is a shared responsibility that requires the combined efforts of executive agencies and citizens with continued daily field follow-up to achieve discipline and raise the level of services provided to citizens.
Giza Governor inspects the development and paving work of Nahia Street
Earlier, Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, inspected the ongoing work to develop and pave Nahia Street in the Boulaq Al-Dakrour neighborhood in the distance extending from the Kamal Amer axis to the ring road, 1.8 km long and 20 meters wide, which contributes to improving traffic movement and raising the efficiency of one of the vital streets that serves high traffic densities.
During his tour, the governor stressed the speedy completion of the works according to the specified timetables, given the importance of the street, with an emphasis on raising the efficiency of public lighting, developing the central island, and raising its electricity cables, which contributes to improving the level of traffic safety and the cultural appearance of the area.
