For his part, Engineer Mohamed Abu Al-Hassan, Director of the Supply Directorate in Aswan, explained that an immediate field visit was carried out to the warehouse in question, as it was found that it had stopped working for more than a year by a decision of the competent company as a result of a lack of some documents, before it was restarted during the month of last February.
The supply manager indicated that a violation was detected, represented by the sale of butane cylinders outside the warehouse, and the necessary legal measures were immediately taken, a misdemeanor report was issued regarding the incident, and it was referred to the competent prosecution to take the necessary action.
The Governor of Aswan stressed the continuation of careful field follow-up and decisive dealing with any supply violations to ensure tight control over the system of distributing subsidized goods, preserving the rights of citizens, and preventing any practices that harm the public interest.
