​In conjunction with the preparations for Christmas celebrations in Hurghada, a number of villages and tourist hotels in Hurghada organized a fruit festival amidst a large demand from foreign tourists and Egyptian visitors, as part of the various entertainment programs offered by the hotels to attract tourists.

​Mohamed Abbas, the general chef at one of Hurghada’s hotels, pointed out that today’s fruit festival included a large number of types of fruits, including mango, strawberries, oranges, kiwi, apples, peaches, pomegranates, guava, dates, and pears, which were very well received by the guests. Abbas pointed out that the festival included all summer fruits, with the presentation of tarts, gateaux, and juices, with the participation of 15 national chefs and half a variety of fruits.

Ahmed Qassem, manager of a hotel in Hurghada, pointed out that the festival included a number of entertainment activities organized by the animation team, which also included the provision of sweets and juices, which attracts the interest of tourists, especially children. For his part, tourism expert Taha Massad, manager of a hotel in Hurghada, confirmed that hotels offer comprehensive entertainment programs throughout the day in conjunction with the approaching Christmas celebration. In addition to the diversity of international dishes that meet the tastes of all nationalities, he also pointed out that Hurghada is currently witnessing high occupancy rates, and that German tourists come first in terms of the number of visitors.

Massad pointed out that the occupancy rate is currently more than 70% and includes a number of European nationalities, led by Germany.
