Elections begin this Wednesday morning House of Representatives In 30 electoral districts whose results were canceled by the Supreme Administrative Court after a number of candidates filed appeals against the election results in the first stage,
Representative elections began in 30 districts after their results were cancelled
The elections will be held in the canceled districts distributed among 10 governorates, after accepting a number of appeals related to the conduct of the electoral process. Voting continues throughout Wednesday and Thursday, amid intense preparations within the governorates to ensure that the electoral process proceeds in an orderly manner.
Citizens begin arriving at voting centers at nine in the morning, as part of citizens’ keenness to exercise their electoral right and contribute to choosing their representatives democratically.
The districts in which the elections are held include:
Giza Governorate, which includes the constituencies of (Al-Badrashin, Manshayet Al-Qanater, Boulak Al-Dakrour, Al-Omraniya and Al-Talbiya, Giza District, 6th of October, Al-Haram)
Minya Governorate, where elections are held in the constituencies of (Awal Minya, Abu Qurqas, Mallawi, Dermawas, Maghagha, Al-Adwa, and Beni Mazar)
Beheira Governorate, where elections are held in the constituencies of: (Al-Mahmudiyah, Al-Dilangat, Housh Issa, and Kom Hamada)
Assiut Governorate includes the constituencies: (Assiut First Division, Abu Tig, Dayrut, Al-Qusiya, and Manfalut)
New Valley Governorate, which includes the districts of Dakhla, Farafra, and Kharga.
Aswan Governorate, which includes the constituencies of (Nasr al-Nuba, First Aswan, Second Aswan, New Aswan, Edfu)
Luxor Governorate, which includes districts: (Luxor District, Esna, and Qurna)
Fayoum Governorate, which includes the Sinnuras District.
Alexandria Governorate, which includes the (First Montazah) district.
Sohag Governorate, which includes (Al-Balina) district.
