Intisar Ramadan Mahmoud, winner of the title of the ideal mother, 67 years old, at the level of Qena Governorate, said that she has three children, Ahmed, a graduate of the Qiraat Institute, Olfat, an engineer, and Osama, an accountant, and all of them are married.
She added that she was working as a general manager in mills and is currently on retirement, and her husband was sick and detained in the Red Crescent Hospital in Cairo, then he fled and left them in 1997.
The first comment from the winner of the title of ideal mother in Qena
She stated that she did not give in to sadness and thought about her children when they were young, so she worked in sewing to increase her income, and her children helped her, some of whom worked in a restaurant, and others in a pharmacy, to provide them with a decent life.
Regarding her winning the title of ideal mother, she indicated that she did not expect to win, and was happy when she heard the news, adding: When I first found out, I called my children to know them.
Earlier, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, announced the names of the winning mothers in the Ideal Mother Competition for the year 2026 at the level of the governorates of the Republic, including Intisar Ramadan from Qena Governorate.
