The doctor confirmed Mustafa Al-Fekithe political thinker, said that the statements of the President of the Republic, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, regarding the elections in the first phase of the 2025 parliamentary elections indicate that there are some observations on the parliamentary scene, adding that these observations make the current council suffer from “defect” in some aspects.

Mostafa Al-Feki said, during his interview with the “Happening in Egypt” program, broadcast on MBC Misr, that the elections will continue and will be evaluated later by the state in any way, noting that he envisions the parliamentary elections to pass normally, but the Head of State stressed the necessity of reforming the electoral scene and addressing some irregularities.

Mustafa Al-Feki explained that the president’s testimony is considered the highest testimony in the country, stressing that this testimony comes to emphasize the importance of the purity of the electoral process and the integrity of the procedures, indicating that he does not expect this council to continue throughout its entire term, stressing that parliamentary work has multiple social and political characteristics and roles, and that the integrity of electoral procedures is essential to ensuring the council’s performance of its duties.
