Artist Yara Al-Sukari confirmed that she does not believe in the idea of absolute preference among female artists, noting that each artist has her own style and artistic line that distinguishes her and reflects her personality on screen, which makes every artistic experience have a special and different character.
In her interview with Cairo 24, Yara Al-Sokari spoke about her role in the Ali Clay series, where she played the character of Spirit, which she described as the lover who was able to greatly influence the hero, Ali Clay, to the point of making him lose his balance and live in a state of disorientation after her departure, which was clearly evident in the audience’s reactions, which were strongly influenced by the character’s dramatic line.
She added that the character’s success came as a result of the close proximity between the hero’s soul and conscience, which was reflected in the dramatic performance and action events, and made the audience interact with the story remarkably.
In the context of her speech, Yara Al-Sukari praised all the heroines of the work, stressing that each one of them gave a strong and distinctive performance, led by the artist Dorra, who embodied the role of evil in a way she described as dazzling, noting that this diversity in performance contributed to enriching the work and increasing its dramatic power.
Yara also categorically denied the rumors being circulated about the existence of disagreements between her and the work team, stressing that these conversations were baseless, and that the atmosphere was dominated by cooperation and mutual respect between all participants in the series.
