The Ministry of Health and Population announced the launch of free medical convoys in the governorates of the Republic, as part of the President of the Republic’s “Decent Life” initiative, until the end of March 2026.

The Ministry explained in a statement that the medical convoys will begin from March 1 to 2, 2026 in Assiut Governorate, in the “Abnoub” Center in the “Abu Ishaq” area, and Aswan Governorate in the “Aswan” Center in the “Al-Sadafa” area, while Cairo Governorate includes the West Nasr City Youth Center.

The Ministry added that the medical convoys affiliated with the “Decent Life” initiative are equipped with all necessary medicines, and will also provide various free health services to the targeted groups of citizens in these areas, as part of the state’s plan to expand the scope of health care and reach remote villages and centers.

The Ministry of Health indicated that the convoys aim to provide basic medical services and early detection of chronic diseases, in addition to health awareness for citizens, as part of ongoing efforts to improve the quality of medical services and support the health of the Egyptian citizen.

Earlier, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar contract, Minister of Health and PopulationA meeting was held to follow up on efforts to provide a stock of bone joints in government hospitals, with the aim of accelerating the end of waiting lists for joint replacement surgery patients, alleviating the suffering of patients and ensuring that they receive the necessary medical care as quickly as possible.
