The journalist commented Ahmed Musa On the Ethiopian statement that accuses it of launching campaigns to destabilize the Horn of Africa region, saying: “The Ethiopian regime wants to use the Ethiopian dam as a political card against Egypt.

Journalist Ahmed Moussa said, during the presentation of his program “On My Responsibility” broadcast on the “Sada El Balad” channel, that the goal of building the dam is to export problems to Egypt, with the aim of destabilizing it, so that they can withhold water from it, stressing the need for Egypt to respond to the Ethiopian statement, and “an eye for an eye,” adding: “We will respond at 10 and do not let Ethiopia overtake us.”

He pointed out that the Ethiopian statement does not express a state, but rather expresses militias, stressing that Egypt will not allow any aggression on the part of Ethiopia, and that Egypt is the largest and most important country.

He pointed out that Egypt helped Ethiopia during the era of the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser, explaining that Ethiopia has an amount of rain amounting to 950 billion cubic meters of rainwater, “and two buses on Egypt’s share.”

He stressed that 95% of Ethiopia is green land, while we are 95% desert, and all of this put pressure on Egypt, stressing that the Ethiopian dam will not be a political card used against Egypt. He said: “This is a matter for the 100 million, and we will not back down from collecting water, and our right exists and is preserved.”
