A number of officials and workers at the Kom Ombo sugar factory, north of the governorate, were frustrated AswanTrying to end his life from the 18th floor.
On Monday morning, workers and officials at the sugar factory were surprised by a worker named Ahmed Ali Suleiman threatening to end his life from the 18th floor of the sugar factory.
He demanded his dues, so the manager transferred him to another place.. Thwarting an attempt to end the life of a worker at the Kom Ombo sugar factory in Aswan
Workers and officials intervened to prevent him from ending his life, and during their attempt he fell down the stairs, which led to his injury and his transfer to the hospital via the factory ambulance.
Upon examination and investigation, it was found that there was a verbal altercation between the worker and the chairman of the factory’s board of directors over the worker’s demand for overdue financial benefits, in favor of the workers.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors decided to transfer the worker from the factory to another factory outside the governorate, and against the background of the decision, the worker went up to the 18th floor and threatened to end his life.
