The Drinking Water and Sanitation Company announced In Dakahliaabout the interruption of drinking water today, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., for approximately 9 hours, in the village of Mit Al-Faramawi and a number of villages and estates affiliated with the center and city of Mit Ghamr.

The outage included the following areas: Mit Al-Faramawy, Ezbet Salama, Kafr Ibrahim Youssef, Kafour Al-Bahaita, Kafr Ali Abdullah, Kafr Suleiman Tadros, Kafr Daoud Matar, Ezbet Harb, and Ezbet Refaat.
The company explained that the reason for the outage was due to the implementation of work to connect the surface station to the Mit Al-Faramawi-Kfour Al-Bahaita artesian water station to Mit Ghamr, as part of the work of the National Authority.
The Dakahlia Water and Sanitation Company appealed to citizens, government departments, local units, authorities, hospitals, and bakeries to meet their drinking water needs during the outage period, until the work is completed and water is gradually restored.
