The Endowments Directorate in the Governorate announced Assiutcompleting all its preparations to receive the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, as it was allocated 169 squares for performing Eid al-Fitr prayers in various centers, cities and villages of the governorate, in addition to 2,677 mosques in which prayer rituals are held, allowing the largest number of worshipers to be accommodated, with the provision of a main preacher and a backup preacher in each square, to ensure the regularity of the rituals without obstacles, and adherence to the instructions regulating the Eid sermon.
Eid al-Fitr preparations
Dr. Eid Ali Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Assiut, said that the preparations included preparing mosques, squares and entrances, and arranging prayer places, in addition to preparing all service facilities to facilitate the performance of prayer with ease and comfort for citizens. Emphasis was also placed on implementing health requirements to ensure the safety of everyone during the performance of the Eid prayer ritual.
These preparations come under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Khatib, Director General of the Dawah, who directed the necessity of adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and arrangement, to ensure that Eid prayers take place in a spiritual atmosphere befitting the sanctity of the occasion.
Mosques also witnessed continuous campaigns to organize parking lots and entrances, and place guidance signs to facilitate the movement of worshipers, in addition to the presence of volunteer teams to provide support and assistance to the elderly and people of determination.
She stressed that these efforts come within the framework of enhancing the Eid prayer ritual, and displaying the civilized image of mosques during this happy occasion, in order to ensure the comfort and safety of citizens and worshippers, in addition to the presence of volunteer teams to provide support and assistance to the elderly and people of determination.
