The Fayoum Endowments Directorate continued its efforts in rebuilding the houses of God Almighty, as it opened today, Friday, April 3, 2026, two new mosques in the governorate’s centers, within the framework of the Ministry of Endowments’ plan to expand the development and opening of mosques.

This came in implementation of the directives of Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, and under the patronage of Sheikh Salama Abdel Razek, Director of the Endowments Directorate. FayoumUnder the supervision of Sheikh Yahya Muhammad, Director of Da’wa, and in the presence of a number of Da’wa, executive and popular leaders, amid a state of joy among the people.
The first Friday sermon dealt with the words of God Almighty: “Say: ‘A reform for them is best’,” where the imams stressed that reform is a way of life that includes reforming oneself, the family, and society, and that it is the way to achieve God’s satisfaction and stability within society, with a call to strengthen the values of cooperation and solidarity and reject division and disagreement.
In the second sermon, the scholars addressed the issue of rationalizing electricity consumption, pointing out that preserving resources is at the core of the teachings of Islam, and that extravagance is forbidden by law, stressing the importance of rational use of energy in a way that supports the state’s efforts to achieve development and preserve its capabilities.
The mosques that were opened included:
Mohamed Abdel-Al Mosque in Ezbet El-Sitt Khadija in Al-Lahoun Village – Fayoum Center
Al-Rahman Mosque in Abu Kisah village – Abshway Center.
The Directorate confirmed that these openings come within the Ministry of Endowments’ ongoing plan to rebuild the Houses of God financially, spiritually, and intellectually, and prepare them to receive worshipers in the best way across the Republic.
