The law approved the disbursement of exceptional cash assistance to poor and low-income groups, and the law authorized the competent ministry to coordinate with associations, civil institutions, and zakat banks, to provide this assistance, which includes the following:
-Funeral expenses.
– Marriage expenses for one time only.
– Birthing expenses for the first time.
– Treatment costs in emergency medical cases, for those not covered by health insurance.
– Tuition expenses.
– Prosthetic devices and assistive tools for people with disabilities.
According to the law, a decision is issued by the competent minister to determine the controls, conditions, value, minimum and maximum limits of aid, in addition to the necessary procedures for disbursing it.
